I am just back from 5 weeks in North America traveling with my good pal and colleague Greg Funnell .
The trip went a little like this: London > Winnipeg (canada) > Los Angeles > Las Vegas > Los Angeles > San Francisco > Big Sur > Los Angeles > New Orleans > Memphis > New Orleans > London
It was a hell of a trip, with enough madness to kill a dozen buffalo – but we survived and survived well. The week in Vegas was for a magazine assignment which I will post here early next year. Here are a few production shots:
The highlight of the Vegas trip was our transportation. Kindly donated by our wonderful ‘production manager’ Nadine, her classic 92 Merc was a dream for negotiating The Strip – although the beast had a sickening tendency to drift at the wrong moments. We affectionately coined it ‘The Boat’ and it lives strong in our memories:
