Elephant: the long dark nights ahead

Interesting subjects are hard to find, and for good reason. Illegal activity does not tempt people into a limelight scenario, or even a casual chat with a babbling irish student. However, the rules sometimes subside and hope returns. Today I got the contact for ‘Sandy’ , it has taken a lot of sweating and reason. I called her and woke her up – a clumsy start indeed – well hell, everyone’s human right? Return call this evening…then…well, here for hope.

you mustn’t forget you have something to offer these people. You’ve a skill and a conscience that you’re willing to almost selflessly dedicate to the story of an extraordinary person. People like attention! (generally) It’s worthy and you’ll be backed all the way……. Don’t give up.

Good stuff Adam, it can be a real sweat trying to get people to take you seriously. Like Sam says though there’ll always be someone who would like to have their story told. It also sounds a much better tactic than kicking your heels waiting for an organisation to approve you and your ideas.

Chin up, keep moving, keep loving, for God´s sake avoid artist´s angst, never give up, fight, remain patient and your labour will be rewarded and most importantly stay passionate.
