Elephant: Eviction

Today two of the squats I have been covering got evicted. It seemed inevitable really, but still shocked to see people surrounded by their lives, considering the next move. Circles of friends disband and perhaps, in the future, together again with new tales and reason for talk. Chiara and Angelo are still safe, but I wonder for how long.

Tata Lor   “Do you need my help”

Laurence  “It depends. If we open the pub in Hackney Road, we need a                  lot of people. The owner is crazy, but we can hold it.”
